So, all websites are different and what's cool about the Wired website is that they have a drop down bar that displays all of their categories like culture and science. The main difference is that the website creator's have made separate sections for different, unusual categories. Those unusual categories are ones that would normally be mixed in with the other categories. which includes the following; Photos, Videos, Back channel, Magazine, and Wired Insider.
Photos and Videos are what they say they are, cool pictures and videos of tech and science stuff that the writers have found. Back Channel, on the other hand, is a place for all of the strange and wired articles written. You can literally find anything under this section. Magazine, is a place for all of their magazine articles because when Wired was first started, it was a magazine first and has now adapted to the 21st century needs, a.k.a. a website. The Wired Insider tab is a place for the people who want to go even deeper into the website by looking at the really technical side of new inventions. Each of these tabs sets Wired out apart from the rest because if you know what you are looking for you can find it easier. Say, for example, you want to find the article A Glimpse of Life Along China's Border with North Korea and you know that is has lots of photos, so you can click the drop down bar and find it easier by going under the photos tab rather than by just plainly searching it. If you want to check out any of the additional elements, then click the button below. Make sure you click the button in the top left hand corner for the drop down menu. |
